Summer Skin Tips

With summer around the corner and the heat taking its toll on us, the real victim is our skin. Due to the heat, pollution and humidity, our skin gets oilier, breakouts occur and lot of UV damage occurs. In order to beat the heat this season, here are a few tips and tricks you should follow to kee your skin healthy:

1. Exfoliate

Exfoliation makes sure your dead, dulling skin debris is removed from your skin and it prevents congestion and improves hydration from moisturisers. It makes sure you get clear, smoother skin. Make sure to exfoliate first and then use your moisturiser for a complete skincare routine.

2. Hydrate Your Skin

Make sure you keep your skin hydrated throughout the heat by using masks at least one to two times a week. Also, use a Booster right before you use a moisturiser in the morning while getting ready for your day. Don’t forget toners as they even out skin porosity.

3. Drink Up

Make sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily so that you maintain the moisture balance of your body as well as your skin. It also helps in detoxification in your body.

4. Keep Reapplying Sunscreen

It isn’t enough to just apply sunscreen once in the morning before you head out for the day. You need to keep applying it frequently throughout the day, as often as every 2 hours.
